Emirates FA Cup 4th Round Predictions
Chorley v Wolves
Chorley have done brilliantly to reach the 4th round but this should be a step too much for them.
Prediction 0-3
Southampton v Arsenal
The Saints edged past Shrewsbury on Tuesday evening but I do not see them getting past the holders.
Prediction 1-2
Barnsley v Norwich
I expect Norwich to make changes as they continue their promotion push, which could give Barnsley the edge here.
Prediction 2-1
Brighton v Blackpool
Blackpool knocked out Premier League West Brom in the 3rd round, but I think they will fall here.
Prediction 2-0
Millwall v Bristol City
There is something about Millwall at The Den in this competition. I would not be surprised if they got through this tie.
Prediction 2-1
Sheffield United v Plymouth
The Blades got their first win of the season in the previous round and should get another one against another League One side.
Prediction 2-0
Swansea v Nottingham Forest
A tasty looking all-Championship affair in South Wales - with a resurgent Forest side the visitors.
Prediction 1-1 (Swansea to win on penalties)
West Ham v Doncaster
West Ham have been hit and miss recently but should be too strong for Doncaster here.
Prediction 2-0
Cheltenham v Manchester City
The home side will be hoping the visitors are in a merciful mood, but this could be the biggest result of the round.
Prediction 0-5
Chelsea v Luton
Chelsea, and manager Frank Lampard, absolutely have to win this game. I can't see them having too many issues against Luton.
Prediction 3-0
Brentford v Leicester
If there is going to be a shock in this round then I am predicting it to be the exit of the Foxes.
Prediction 2-1
Fulham v Burnley
After their midweek win at Liverpool, Burnley should be full of confidence, however, I am backing Fulham to edge this one.
Prediction 1-0
Manchester United v Liverpool
When these two met in the league last weekend, it was far from a thrilling spectacle. I would expect much of the same here, with Klopp demanding a response after losing to Burnley in the league last time out.
Prediction 1-1 (Liverpool to win on penalties)
Everton v Sheffield Wednesday
Carlo Ancelotti will have surely learned his lesson after their lucky escape in the last round. This should be more comfortable for them though.
Prediction 2-0
Wycombe v Tottenham
Wycombe's win over Preston in the 3rd round shocked many - surely that won't be repeated here?
Prediction 0-3
Bournemouth v Crawley
Bournemouth should be too strong for Crawley here, but need to be wary after their visitors demolished Leeds in the last round.
Prediction 2-0
Aston Villa v Newcastle (Premier League rearranged game)
Dean Smith will be eager to get his first team back out on the pitch - it has been three weeks since their last league outing. While they will be ready to go, there is always a chance after a lengthy period off that they could be a yard off the pace. Newcastle, however, are winless in nine and look like a relegated team. If they are not careful, they could be in a relegation scrap before too long. I can't see them getting anything at Villa Park.
Prediction 2-0
